Aquamarine on Quartz ex Obodda

Item Description

A 2.3 cm, gemmy and lustrous, light blue aquamarine crystal is striking embedded in the side of a very sharply terminated, glassy quartz crystal on this striking and aesthetic combination specimen from Dassu. The glassy aqua has a nifty, crackly interior. The termination of the quartz is water-clear, with the bit of interior crazing adding much character and the lower portion of the quartz is glassy and translucent. The aqua is pristine and the quartz termination has only the most trivial of barely noticeable bruising. Complete all-around, the quartz has embedded albite and tan, pearlescent, muscovite books embedded on the sides. The presentation of this fine combination specimen is outstanding.
