Item Description

A dramatic and aesthetic cluster of multi-hued, aquamarine crystals is very well placed on the CABINET matrix of pearlescent, muscovite blades. The two largest compound crystal clusters, to 3.5 cm, are gemmy and lustrous, classic blue aquas. Smaller nearby crystals are tinted yellow by inclusions and coatings of iron oxides. Aquas on the edge are bi-colored, yellow-tinted at the base, with translucent, coloress uppers. All of the many crystals in the interior are pristine, excepting trivial, barely noticeable termination edgewear to the largest aqua. Periphery wear is noted to the terminations of the colorless aquas on the edge. This remains a striking, large, multi-colored, multiple aqua crystal specimen from this famous locale. Ex Matthew Zukowski Collection. Valued at $1200
