Item Description

When it comes to Aquamarine, Pakistan is the most productive country for specimens in the last 20 years. Some of the very finest quality Aquamarine specimens come from the various pegmatites in the Paki Himalayas, including the pieces from the famous Nagar region. This locality has produced some of the most exciting Aquamarine specimens in recent years. This piece features a couple sharp, glassy, gemmy soft blue color, hexagonal prismatic crystals of Aquamarine which are sitting atop semi-metallic silvery Muscovite. The main Aqumarine is undamaged and measures 2.0 cm long. One of the side crystals is contacted however. A very attractive, good quality gem crystal display specimen from this famous Pakistani pegmatite locality. The base of the piece does have some saw marks. Valued at $700.
