These specimens are some of the most unique and attractive Aquas from any locality. Tjhey have become some of the most distinctive and easily recognizable Aquas on the planet. Tabular Aquamarine crystals are rare, but some of the Aquas from Xuebaoding are absolutely superb quality to boot! This particular piece features a sharp, lustrous, gem/gemmy light blue, somewhat tabular crystal of Aquamarine measuring 4.8 cm across sitting atop a crystallized matrix of compressed, bladed, silvery Muscovite crystals. The quality is good, despite a few nicks, and the Aquamarine crystal is pretty gemmy, when so many from this locality are essentially opaque. A nice quality specimen from this unique locality.
