Item Description

Aquamarine from Pakistan is admittedly no longer rare in the mineral world, with regular finds of all kinds of styles and shapes. However, combination pieces with this particular look and style, have always and will always be rare. This is a 360-degree specimen, complete all around, featuring a pristine and porcelain-white feldspar crystal, rising above a nest of smaller crystals from which shoots a totally gemmy and transparent aquamarine crystal. The Aquamarine is contrasted dramatically, with the large crystal rising above. The stark white background really sets off the aquamarine and shows off its gemminess and form in a way that most matrix backgrounds do not. The aquamarine is 3.5 cm long, perfect, with no damage or repairs, and with total clarity. It absolutely glitters, against that matrix of white crystals behind it. An anonymous donation, from new finds of 2020. Valued $2000-2500.
