Item Description

When it comes to Aquamarine, Pakistan is the most productive country for specimens in the last 20 years. Some of the very finest quality Aquamarine specimens come from the various pegmatites in the Paki Himalayas, especially the pieces from around Shigar. This locality has produced some of the most exciting Aquamarine specimens in recent years. This piece hosts sharp, lustrous, gemmy, blue color, prismatic crystals of Aquamarine sitting atop small Albite crystals. The main crystal has a BEAUTIFUL etching pattern, which can only be appreciated in person. It's bascially half a crystal, with a hollowed-out center, but it's still glassy and gemmy and really eye-catching. This piece is certainly different and worth picking up if you collect interesting gem crystal specimens.
