A glassy, transparent aquamarine crystal with riveting ice-blue color! Textbook, hexagonal crystal form and complete all-around. Hard to photograph, but it is much nicer in person. This is a classic, perhaps from the 1800s and early 1900s heyday here. it has that oldstyle look to it, as well. Ex Earl Calvert (Los Angeles collector big in the 1940-1950s) and Sam Nasser Collections. Earl Calvert was a well-known California mineral collector who lived from 1904-1964.
