Item Description

Mineral specimens from this well-known pegmatite mine, close to the famed Jonas Mine, are uncommon and are seldom on the market. A 4.8 x 2.7 cm, very glassy, gemmy, seafoam-green, tabular aquamarine is nicely nestled in the large matrix of sculptural jackstraw clusters of pearlescent muscovite plates. The matrix on the back includes snow-white albite. Rare and excellent combination material from the Matioli Collection.
