Aquamarine, Muscovite & Albite (New Find)

A beautiful, rich ice-blue, 5.0 cm aquamarine crystal is very aesthetically set on the sculptural small cabinet matrix from a new find in the Nagar District of Pakistan. The very glassy, highly lustrous, textbook hexagonal crystal is water-clear gem in the upper one-third, gemmy-translucent in the middle section and translucent in the lower one-third. The artistic complementary matrix consists of intergrown pearlescent muscovite blades to 3.0 cm nicely accented with a sharp, translucent, 3.6 cm on the diagonal, albite crystal. The aqua is very nearly pristine, with only one small spot of barely noticeable termination edge wear. A classic, excellent and well-presented aquamarine combination with a fine gemmy crystal from the well-known locale.
