An impressive large pair of stepped, parallel-growth, aquamarine crystals is aesthetically set on the edge of the pearlescent mucovite matrix on this dramatic and excellent large combination from Nagar. The cluster is 5.0 x 5.0 x 4.1 cm. The lustrous, glassy, striated crystals have fine blue color with striking gem termination areas above translucent bodies. We purchased this showy piece as part of a collection and valued it at $4000. Later, we noticed that the back edge of the large crystal has been polished. The rest of the crystals have only very trivial edge wear, so the presentation view is very nearly pristine.
