A superb and dramatically aesthetic large 360-degree aquamarine combination from the famous Shigar Valley. The stunning piece is dominated by the amazing, sharp, 9.9 cm tall, bone-white, porcelaneous, Baveno-twinned Microcline crystal and the adjacent, proudly upright, 6.7 cm, shapely, terminated, water-clear Quartz crystal with satin luster faces. The flat-lying 6.7 cm Quartz crystal is a super complement. The flat-lying Quartz appears to be a Japan-law twin, but is not. Rounding out the exquisite accessories are the 3, notable, well-placed, gemmy, ice-blue, textbook hexagonal Aquamarine crystals, to 1.2 cm, many snow-white Albite crystals clusters and a few more Quartz crystals. The basal periphery wear from collecting has negligible impact to the overall exceptional quality of this piece. Ex Kurt Hefendehl Collection (#39 AP), a well-known German collector who amassed a world-wide collection of over 6000 pieces. He passed away in 2020.
