Aquamarine (Heliodor terminations), on Schorl

Rather exceptional cluster of the sought-after Aquamarines with Heliodor tips from the Erongo Mountains. The aesthetics of this piece are excellent. The long slender Aquas, which range up to 3 cm in length, are distributed in all directions on the needle-like Tourmaline var. Schorl matrix, which itself appears to be the tip of a long, slender knob. The luster is very good, and many of the Aquas have very gemmy tips. Definitely one of the more engaging of these combinations I have seen. This association of beryl on tourmaline is highly unusual!
