Item Description
A beautiful and incredibly WATER-CLEAR Aquamarine crystal from the lesser known Mack Mine in San Diego County, California. The crystal has an attractive, slightly modified termination, with glassy faces and incredibl gemminess. The color is a soft blue hue, and the piece itself is a great gem crystal thumbnail, and certainly a good quality Beryl from any locality in the U.S., not just California. According to mindat.org "The deposit was one of the earliest sources of gem quality beryl in San Diego County, and was discovered in November of 1903". A worthwhile specimen that is RARELY seen in today's market.
