Aquamarine (GEM quality) (ex Brian Kosnar Collection)

Item Description

A fantastic WATER-CLEAR, sharp, glassy, well-formed, hexagonal prism of Aquamarine with a soft blue color and beautiful modifying pyramidal faces near the termination. The piece is excellent condition with only the slightest amount of "Wilbers" at the termination. The piece is not 100% transparent, but it's darn close, with only a minor amount of "fuzz" at the base of the crystal. MUCH BETTER IN PERSON. The color is more of a baby blue in person as well, and not quite as much of a grey-blue as the photos indicate. It was extremely difficult to photograph, but certainly better when you hold it in your hands. Overall, the piece is a super thumbnail and great from the standpoint of quality.
