Item Description

A fantastic, WATER-CLEAR crystal group of light blue colored, textbook, hexagonal prisms of Aquamarine from the famous Shigar District in Pakistan. The crystals have wonderful luster on the prism faces, along with the basal terminations. If you look closely, you can see a few small black crystals of Schorl Tourmaline which are included within and sticking out of the Aquas. Due to the high transparency, these crystals would honestly yield some attractive larger gemstones. The piece is priced in the inventory at $1,800, but the gem rough value of the piece is approximately $3,500 in finished stones. This area has produced some of the most iconic Aquamarine crystals in the world in terms of supreme gemminess and excellent crystal form, and this piece is a great example of said material. Specimen weight is 30.11 grams.
