Aquamarine, Feldspar, and Schorl

Outstanding, large combination specimen of Aquamarine, Feldspar, and Schorl, from Erongo. There are about one dozen of the medium-blue Aquas, and their luster is uniformly good. When the crystals are complete, the terminations are gemmy. The largest Aqua is 4.3 cm long and 1.4 cm across, with .8 cm of the termination being gemmy. The lustrous Schorls range up to 2.7 cm, many are terminated, and they often penetrate the Aquas. The large Felspars are slightly etched, which creates a very attractive surface texture. On balance, this is an excellent Aqua cluster.
