Aquamarine (ex Rich Kosnar Collection)

Here we have an attractive, VERY gemmy, beautiful color, prismatic, somewhat etched crystal of Aquamarine from the famous locality at Medina. The piece was mined about 40 years ago (circa 1976), and comes from the collection of Richard Kosnar, who had a strong presence in Brazil bringing back a large quantity of pegmatite minerals in the 1970s. The crystal would make a great addition to any gem crystal suite, especially since gem Aquas from Brazil are truly difficult to find on the market these days.
