When it comes to Aquamarine, Pakistan is the most productive country for specimens in the last 20 years. Some of the very finest quality Aquamarine specimens come from the various pegmatites in the Paki Himalayas, especially the pieces from around Shigar. This locality has produced some of the most exciting Aquamarine specimens in recent years. This piece features a few good, sharp, GEM/gemmy, lustrous, pale blue color blocky crystals of Aquamarine measuring up to 2.4 cm associated with Quartz, Microcline and Albite.
