Item Description

A very rarely seen DARK blue Aquamarine crystal on cream-colored Microcline matrix. The termination unfortunately is missing, but the color is about as dark a blue color as Beryl can be. The piece was collected by Rich Kosnar in the late 1970s, and is one of the only pieces on matrix that I've ever had to offer from Idaho. The prism faces of the main Aqua crystal (which measures 2.6 cm) are sharp and lustrous, and the smaller secondary crystals are even a bit gemmy. If you collect North American gem minerals, or even Beryl specimens from the United States, or even more specifically minerals from Idaho, don't miss out on this one! Enjoy.
