Aquamarine & Cleavelandite (rare - Bill Larson Coll.)

Item Description

A rare matrix aquamarine small cabinet from this less well-known Riverside County pegmatite. A gemmy, light ice-blue, textbook hexagonal aqua is aesthetically set on the bladed cleavelandite matrix. The aqua has a glass-clear termination with rippled frosted prism faces. The aqua is 3.5 x 2.7 x 2.3 in the fine frontal view. with the aqua being 3.8 cm tall on the contacted back. This excellent aqua was collected in 1992 or 1993 by Phil Osborn, who named the mine after his daughter, Audrey Lynn.
