A 6.0 cm, gorgeous, gemmy and lustrous, very untypical for Shigar, steel-blue aquamarine crystal (reminds us of Vietnamese aquas) is jauntily set in VERY RARE for the locale, massive laminated calcite. Both ends of the aqua are contacted and the crystal has thin, internal growth planes. The calcite also hosts pearlescent muscovite books and a few tiny schorls. This excellent and showy piece could be unique for the rich blue color and quality of the aqua and for the combination with the calcite.
