A fantastic full cabinet sized "floater" specimen of beautiful gemmy "blue ice" Aquamarine from the famous Itatiaia Mine in Brazil. It is impossible to capture the absolute glassy WATER-CLEAR quality of the crystal in photos or even in the video, but please know the piece is fantastic in person, as there are large sections which are completely transparent and look like soft blue glass. The surface luster looks almost "wet" in areas, which only enhances the beautiful internal clarity. The piece is crystallized (or in some places etched) on all sides, and has a unique flattened crystal habit, not commonly seen in this material. It's a robust specimen, larger than virtually anything else I've had to offer from this locality, and weighs in at a very respectable 246.20 grams.
