Aquamarine & Apatite (fluorescent) ex Obodda

An obvious "star" of this set of auctions is this very aesthetic combination specimen of aquamarine and fluorapatite crystals on muscovite matrix. It has it all: nice size, fine gem crystals, and wonderful two-sided form. It has a look of real "significance" to it. The gem aqua measures 4.0 x 2.6 x 2.2 cm and is nicely accented with side car crystals The super complimentary, gemmy, hexagonal, rose-pink fluorapatite is 2.3 x 1.5 cm. The muscovites are well-defined and have excellent pearlescent luster. Yellow SW UV fluorescence for the apatite. The aqua is very nearly pristine, with only trivial edge bruise. This is an extra-fine combination spiker from the Herb Obodda dealer stock. It is very fairly valued at $2000 and should really go for more.
