Item Description

This is a great rarity for Beryl. Around 2003, I remember seeing some very interesting, rare bi-color crystals of Beryl from Pakistan that were tabular with a pink core and a blue ring surrounding it. These new crystals are even more rare and interesting as they feature the same pink and blue bi-color, but with much more attractive prismatic crystals. This piece features several attractive lustrous, sharp, very well formed, gemmy, crystals with light blue Aquamarine terminations on the ends and pale pink Morganite color at the centers of the crystal. Associated at the base of the specimen is a group of nicely contrasting Albite (var: Cleavelandite) crystals. The Aqua portion of the crystals is much gemmier than the Morganite portions, which is somewhat confusing to me as there is a distinctive cut off point where one color/clarity stops and the other begins. This is a great rarity to find prismatic Morganite from any locality. Any collector who loves unusual and colorful gem crystals should consider this one. Valued at $400.
