Item Description
From a find in the Fall of 2004. This is a really cool Beryl. It's unusual to find bi-color Beryl crystals from any locality, but it's even more unusual when one of those colors is colorless. This piece has a cool blue "cat's eye" Aquamarine termination sitting atop a mostly colorless Goshenite Beryl prism. The matrix is white Albite coated with silvery-golden Muscovite. The Beryl crystal measures 1.1 cm and has an interrupted growth, which makes it appear to be two crystals, but it's simply a single prism that was halted by some of the Muscovite A really cool Beryl from the same locality that produced the unique Aqua/Morganite bi-color Beryls from years ago. A wonderful pegmatite crystal that would make a great addition to any collection.
