This is an ethereal aquamarine crystal that was once fat and normal, and now is heavily etched away by solution effects in situ, to this form. It is, in person, not as brown as it appears - iron /rust stuck inside is captured far too easily by the camera. In person it is overall a pleasing pastel blue. the form is so dramatic, so interesting and convoluted, that this is the major quality of the piece and makes it worth seeing in person to appreciate.
