When it comes to Aquamarine, Pakistan is the most productive country for specimens in the last 20 years. Some of the very finest quality Aquamarine specimens come from the various pegmatites in the Paki Himalayas, including the pieces from the famous Nagar region. This locality has produced some of the most exciting Aquamarine specimens in recent years. This piece features a group of sharp, glassy, gemmy, beautiful blue color, hexagonal prismatic crystals of Aquamarine which are associated with minor silvery Muscovite. I love the parallel growth of the crystals, which is not typical for the locality. The piece is not 100% perfect, but still very attractive in person, and a good quality gem crystal specimen this famous Pakistani pegmatite locality.
