When it comes to Aquamarine, Pakistan is the most productive country for specimens in the last 20 years. Some of the very finest quality Aquamarine specimens come from the various pegmatites in the Pakistani Himalayas, especially the pieces from around Shigar. This locality has produced some of the most exciting Aquamarine specimens in recent years. This piece features good, sharp, GEM/gemmy, lustrous, soft blue color prismatic crystals of Aquamarine intergrown in parallel groups with minor white Albite. Great shape overall, and the photos might make the Aqua appear to be damaged, but if you look closely it's all internal, and I can't see any actual surface damage with the naked eye. It's actually covered with small crytal faces and it's even doubly-terminated in areas. A good quality gem crystal association specimen from this most prestigious of Pakistani pegmatite localities.
