Some of the best contemporary Aquamarine specimens are those from Erongo. Not only is the quality superb on many of these Aqua specimens, but the associations can make for some really stellar specimens. This piece features a very sharp, highly lustrous, gemmy, beautiful blue color Aquamarine crystal. The piece is essentially damage free and the back of the termination is not actually damaged, as it has tiny crystallized faces all over. It's obviously contacted on the base where it was removed from the pocket. The color grades from nearly colorless and transparent at the termination to a rich blue hue at the base. Valued at $650.
