Here we have an attractive attractive notably blue color, "Cut Corner Rectangle" cut gem of Aquamarine with a good saturation. It does have some slight inclusions, but looks better in person, and I would say for the size, the inclusions are forgiveable. The piece of rough from which this stone was faceted was mined about 40 years ago (circa 1976), and comes from the collection of Richard Kosnar, who had a strong presence in Brazil bringing back a large quantity of pegmatite minerals and gem material in the 1970s. The gem would make a great addition to any collection, especially since gem Aquas from Brazil are truly difficult to find on the market these days - especially with this color.
