Beryl is known in a myriad of colors, but one of the most popular shades is blue. This particular gem is a beautiful natural blue Aquamarine from the Mozambique gem fields. This stone is eye clean and has a very pleasing "aqua blue" color, especially for a stone this size. It's a good size stone for a ring or a pendant if you so wish as it has very unusual concave/linear facetting on the pavillion to create a very unique effect. The stone has a "Concave Emerald". It would make a very attractive piece of jewelry for somebody with a March birthday as Aquamarine is the birthstone for that month.
