Aquamarine

Item Description

This is a gemmy, very nicely colored crystal of aquamarine showing, for Brazil, the unusual tapering characteristic of this mine. It is actually a floater. The bottom is crudely crystallized, flattish. The top termination has a slight ding atop that looks as if it was broken in the pocket, with some later regrowth over the break. So it is not a perfect termination, but you do have to look closely to realize that. 32 grams
