Item Description
When it comes to Aquamarine, Pakistan is the most productive country for specimens in the last 20 years. Some of the very finest quality Aquamarine specimens come from the various pegmatites in the Paki Himalayas, especially the pieces from around Shigar. This locality has produced some of the most exciting Aquamarine specimens in recent years. This piece features a fine, sharp, lustrous, GEM/gemmy soft blue color, prismatic crystal of Aquamarine sitting atop white Albite/Microcline matrix. The termination of the Aqua crystal has an attractive "phantom" appearance. The piece can be displayed from several angles. A nice matrix display specimen with good aesthetics and color contrast from this most prestigious of Pakistani pegmatite localities.
