Aquamarine gems from Brazil have been mined for decades, and they are still among the best examples of this blue variety of Beryl in the world. Here we have a lovely soft blue Aquamarine with virtually eye clean clarity and an "Oval Brilliant" cut. It's a decent size stone for a pendant or a ring if you so wish, but it would also stand alone as a nice little single stone in a gem box. Aquamarine is the birthstone for March, so this would make a nice gift for someone with a birthday in that month.
