A great old classic from Brazil in the form a "torpdeo"-shaped, GEM QUALITY, very light greenish blue color, prismatic, etched Aquamarine crystal. The specimen came from the collection of Richard Kosnar who personally imported the piece from Brazil in 1976. Kosnar spent most of the 1970s importing Brazilian minerals, including some of the most iconic specimens of the day. This piece is a wonderful example of the famous old Medina crystals with the gentle etching patterns, 100% WATER CLEAR transparency, and lovely pastel coloring. A great piece for a thumbnail collection or a gem crystal suite. Specimen weight is 1.28 grams.
