Apophyllite with Stilbite on Chalcedony (ex John Arnaud Collection)

A classic, display specimen featuring a doubly-terminated Apophyllite crystal group very aesthetically perched atop a pinkish stalactitic Chaclcedony matrix. There is actually a small pink blade of Stilbite flaring off the top of the piece for a great touch. The piece is in great shape overall and the displayability leaves nothing to be desired from an aesthetic standpoint. You can see that the Apophyllite is super lustrous, and nearly totally gem quality on the terminations. The piece comes with a customs lucite base for easy display as well! Indian Zeolites may still be fairly common on the market, but you cannot deny the fact that they are colorful, attractive, highly displayable and several of them are the finest examples of their respective species extant!
