Apophyllite with Stilbite (ex John Arnaud Collection)

I know that Indian Zeolites and associated species are everywhere, but you must appreciate them for what they are. They are simply some of the finest crystallized examples of their respective species extant. This piece is actually from a find from nearly 20 years ago, and came from the collection of Brian Kosnar. It features superb quality, sharp, lustrous, prismatic, gemmy, light blue green color crystals of Apophyllite forming a gorgeous "spray" with bladed cream colored Stilbite crystals at the base. Very little damage, and MUCH BETTER IN PERSON, it's actually pretty showy, but hard to photograph!! This piece will probably end up being a great bargain for somebody. One day (eventually) India will not produce any more of these Zeolites, and they will more than likely receive great recognition for being the amazing display specimens that they are. Valued at $900.
