Apophyllite with Stilbite (ex Harold Urish Collection)

I know that Indian Zeolite specimens are everywhere, but you must appreciate them for what they are. They are simply some of the finest crystallized examples of their respective species extant. This piece is actually from a find from nearly 20 years ago, and came from the collection of Harold Urish. It features a decent sized, sharp, lustrous, blocky, light blue green color, doubly-termianted crystal of Apophyllite measuring 2.6 cm with a few somewhat gemmy, white Stilbite sheaves flaring off the side sitting on little bit of matrix. No notable damage to speak of, and it's such an aesthetic miniature size piece that will probably end up being a great bargain for somebody. One day (eventually) India will not produce any more of these Zeolites, and they will more than likely receive great recognition for being the amazing display specimens that they are.
