Item Description
I know that Indian Zeolite specimens are everywhere, but you must appreciate them for what they are. They are simply some of the finest crystallized examples of their respective species extant. This piece is actually from a find from nearly 20 years ago, and came from the collection of Brian Kosnar. It features several good sized, sharp, rather lustrous, blocky, striated, translucent/gemmy, light green color crystals of Apophyllite measuring up to 3.6 cm with several peach blades of Stilbite up to 4.5 cm. The crystals are overgrowing thin Quartz stalactites. It's an aesthetic cabinet size piece, and will probably end up being a great bargain for somebody. Please note that the main Apophyllite crystal on the top of the piece is repaired, but is still very showy and eye-catching. One day (eventually) India will not produce any more of these Zeolites, and they will more than likely receive great recognition for being the amazing display specimens that they are.
