Apophyllite with Stilbite

Zeolites from India along with their associated minerals may still be fairly common on the market today, but this should not take way from the fact that they are colorful, attractive, highly displayable and several of them are the finest crystallized examples of their respective species extant ! Here we have a classic, cabinet sized display specimen featuring groups of very sharp, translucent, lustrous, gorgeous green Apophyllite (more properly Fluorapophyllite-(K)) crystals which are associated with very lustrous white "sheaf"-like crystal groups of Stilbite on basalt matrix. I love the "wet" luster seen on the Apophyllite crystals. Hard to photograph, but better in person and nearly every crystal is undamaged. Apophyllite is at is best from India, and this piece is a great example of these wonderfully colorful crystals. Priced at $1,250 in the inventory
