Item Description

A beautiful specimen consisting of colorless Apophyllite (most likely Hydroxyapophyllite-(K)) associated with powder blue Allophane from the famous Christmas Mine in Arizona. According to the label from Joseph Vajdak, the blue is not Kinoite or another copper species, which would be expected from this locality. As I mentioned, this piece comes with a classic label from Josef Vajdak / Pequa Rare Minerals, which immediately increases the value.
