Item Description

An elegant, diverging apophyllite crystal cluster is highlighted by the striking, central pyramid. The extremely gemmy and lustrous, pastel-green crystals are beautifully accented by the pearlescent, snow-white, stilbite blades on the basalt matrix. Ex Jaime Bird Collection, dating to the 1960s or early 70s, when Indian zeolites were just beginning to arrive at the US. A very aesthetic and pristine, 360-degree, combination miniature. Pieces of this quality from the extinct Pashan Quarry are seldom seen today.
