Apophyllite w/ gem Datolite (rare, rich combo) ex Obodda

Item Description

Choice, rare and rich combination material from the famous Bor Pit and the Herb Obodda dealer stock. Very glassy, colorless, gemmy/translucent, pyramidal tetragonal apophyllite crystals, to 1.2 cm, cover the matrix plate. A super accent are the few tabular, gem, light mint-green datolite crystals scattered about and highlighted by the 1.6 cm crystal on one edge. This crystal is pristine. Rarely do you see such richness and crystal size with apophyllite from the Bor Pit and with gem datolite. Older material from the early 1990s finds and seldom available today.
