Apophyllite & Stilbite (excellent)

Item Description

An impressive, 360-degree, mounded, combination zeolite specimen from Jalgaon. The highlight is the dramatic, 5.5 cm, doubly terminated apophyllite with gem, steeply pyramidal terminations and a translucent mid-section. One side is entirely glassy apophyllites and the other side hosts a fine cluster of pearlescent, tan, stilbites. Complete all-around and essentialy pristine. Very interestingly, the broken base reveals the many hollow, now filled, tubes where precipitating fluids flowed. Fine Jalgaon combination material.
