Apophyllite, Stilbite and Calcite

Item Description

This sculptural, wing-shaped, LARGE CABINET, combination specimen features a centrally placed, 4.5 cm, blocky apophyllite crystal attractively complimented by pearlescent, salmon-pink, stilbite and smaller apophyllites. Very interestingly, sparkly drusy calcite covers all of the apophyllites, but VERY LITTLE of the stilbites. Interesting chemistry here. Nearly pristine, with only a trivial bit of termination edgewear to the large apophyllite. Jalgaon continues to produce dramatic and fine zeolite combination specimens.
