Item Description

Fantastic doubly terminated colorless, very glassy, tetragonal apophyllite crystals with striking water-clear, gem, highly modified pinacoidal terminations around translucent bodies are dramatically stacked to form a stunning architectural stalactite from Jalgaon. The crowning crystal is 5.5 cm long. You can see the three filled-in tubes in the interior and on the broken base, where the silica-rich precipitated fluids flowed, adding real pizzazz. One tube goes all the way to through the top crystal. Complete all-around and pristine, this is an exceptional Jalgaon apophyllite stalactite from the Robert Nowakowski Collection # 393. Every turn of this amazing 360-degree specimen presents a distinctively different perspective.
