Item Description

Super glassy, gem-like, colorless, apophyllite crystals form a striking and beautiful stalactite from Jalgaon. The gemmy, pyramidal crystals are water-clear to translucent and some are doubly terminated, including the largest at 3.2 cm. The crystals project every which way, and really adds to the appeal of this dramatic piece. You can easily see the gray chalcedony stalk that forms the core of the stalactite. Complete all-around and nearly pristine, with only one, barely noticeable broken tip on a crystal near the termination. Otherwise complete and shockingly pristine all around. This is a very fine and uncommon example of stalactitic apophyllite from Jalgaon. Fairly valued at $400-500 today.
