Item Description
An excellent cluster of about two dozen rectangular prisms of Hydroxyapophyllite on a matrix of Manganite, Kutnahorite, and lightly-fluorescent Calcite. The Hydroxyapophyllites have superb, smooth to striated, luster, are partially gemmy, and are nearly colorless. Note this is not the more common Fluor-variety of Apophyllite. This is much rarer, and these crystals are first-class. The largest is about 1.2 cm across, and many are nearly cubic. One of the sharpest clusters I have seen from Wessels, which I believe is best of the species
