Apophyllite on Stilbite

Item Description

A beautiful and showy association specimen from the Deccan Trap featuring a 3.7 cm "spray" of sharp, lustrous, prismatic green crystals of Apophyllite aesthetically flaring off of a group of pearly white bladed Stilbite crystals measuring up to 2.7 cm on matrix. Very little damage and highly displayable! These pieces from India must be appreciated for being the finest crystallized examples of their respective species ever found. This piece comes from a prominent Midwest collection that we purchased a few months ago.
