Item Description

An aesthetic, scuptural and uncommon cluster of intergrown, sharp, blocky, translucent, bone-white apophyllite crystals from this famous Trap Rock quarry. A layer of mint-green prehnite botryoids underlies the apophyllites and rest atop the thin basalt crust matrix. Complete all-around and pristine. Choice and classic combination material from the locale and the Bob Trimingham Collection and purchased in 1975.
